Three steps. About two minutes.
Relent asks a few short questions, shows you the pattern underneath, and hands you one thing to try.
Tap what’s true.
How your body feels, what you’re feeling, where it’s landing. No blank page, no typing.
See the loop you’re in.
Relent names the pattern that keeps it going, in plain words, so it stops feeling like just you.
Take one small step.
A short exercise matched to this moment, a few minutes long. Then you’re done.
Not another page to fill.
Writing it all out can help. On the hard days, the page turns into one more place to go round in circles.
Two minutes, and then back to your day.
Private by default.
Built for the moments you don’t share, and honest about what it is.

A few plain answers about what Relent is, and what it isn’t.
“For the everyday moments when a feeling is real but the words aren’t there yet.”
Relent is a reflection tool, not therapy, diagnosis or crisis care. What it is
Is Relent free?
Yes. Relent is free to use in your browser, and you can start a check-in without making an account.
Do I need to download an app?
No. Relent runs in the browser on your phone or computer. On a phone you can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app, without an app store.
Is Relent therapy?
No. Relent is a reflection tool. It doesn’t diagnose or treat anything and isn’t a crisis service. It’s for the everyday moments when a feeling is real but the words aren’t there yet. See the about page for what it is and isn’t.
What happens to what I tap?
Check-ins are structured choices, not diary entries. As a guest they stay in your browser. If you sign in, your history is backed up encrypted. The full detail is in the privacy policy.
What if I’m in crisis?
Relent isn’t built for emergencies. If you’re in danger or thinking about hurting yourself, contact local emergency services or a crisis line in your country now. Our safety policy explains how Relent handles heavy moments.
